Welcome to My Blog Post
My name is Jarred Arnold. I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I currently reside in Port Richey, Florida. I am a health sciences major and minoring in emergency management and homeland security. I enjoy reading, I generally read about military history and biographies of people I find interesting like Thomas Edison for example. I am a huge New York Mets fan, I have been to CitiField once for a game. I love listening to rock and roll, I been to numerous concerts, too many to mention here.
I currently work as an EMT in an emergency department at a hospital in Tampa. I have been there for a little over three years now. I am currently pursuing a lateral transfer within the same company to work for their critical care ambulances. I also voluntarily serve in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, I am a staff officer for human resources for Flotilla 79 located on the Gandy bridge. I have also held numerous jobs throughout high school, however, these are the more professional ones.
I am not a huge fan of social media, I have a Facebook account and a LinkedIn (if that counts). I mainly use Facebook to keep up with friends and family, perhaps that is my favorite. LinkedIn is used for professional growth. I am always surfing Reddit as well, I don't really consider than social media though.
This is my first time creating a blog. I don't really use blogs too often, maybe ones about cooking recipes. I mainly divert my energy towards reputable sources, that is not to say that some bloggers are not reputable, however I could care less about what other people are writing. Perhaps Twitter is like a shorter version of a blog and maybe a social media platform I may enjoy, however I am hesitant to get sucked into the wormhole that is Twitter. I don't use my phone much as is, it would just be another app to keep up with.
Again, welcome to my blog. Looking forward to the entries being put into here for this upcoming semester. Hopefully this can be used as something I can look back on years from now. Best of luck to my classmates on their education and future endeavors.

Forgot to say that Reddit is a social media. Anyone can post and comment on posts.
